Welcome to my blog! My name is Christine. I am going into my junior year at Susquehanna University and am majoring in German and International Studies! I am also minoring in Studio Art. I have been studying German for about six years throughout high school and college. This fall I will be participating in a study abroad program that involves living and studying in both Vienna, Austria and Marburg, Germany!
My main goal in writing this blog is to provide an honest perspective on studying abroad. While I will be sharing good times and fun adventures, I also value the difficulties that I know are bound to come my way while living out of my comfort zone. Some topics I plan to discuss are: maintaining a vegan diet in a meat and cheese-filled society, what I wish I knew before studying abroad, coffee culture, dorm life abroad and more! I cannot wait to interact with y’all and bring you along on this journey with me. Maybe I will even convince myself to write a few posts in German… stay tuned!
